Sparrow asked because a few of us have had strange reactions to her. But it’s okay if you don’t! Even I find her much less weirdly appealing now that I’ve gotten to know her!

It may, somehow, depend on the individual Being’s animal base. Dogs have much social interaction with their packmembers, cats less, and at least some species of lizard, almost none. If so, if Sparrow meets a primate-based Being, it would have as strong or stronger reaction to her than Patrick’s.
I think that is a very solid theory. It may also depend on the strength of their senses – like Patrick’s sense of smell.
and there goes the cute scene I had in my head where Kara Lyn asks permission if she can have sex with Sparrow out of the blue.
On the other hand, you can replace it with fantasies of Jany asking Kara-Lyn if she smells okay, and KL licking her in to check. Very thoroughly.
Think if we throw enough money in the tip jar we’ll get a nice piece of artwork of that question being answered? :3

Maybe she’s really a cat person.
Another thought, those with odd reactions to her have all been in male form at he time. Would Kara Lyn react the same if she were in a male form? Like some hidden sub-code related to specific shapes.
