How’s everybody doing on this fine day?
Jany and Kara Lynn?
Jany: I can’t believe I’m looking forward to getting back to sleeping on my brother’s couch.
Kara Lynn: Master…
Miranda and Poe?
Miranda: I can’t believe I’m waiting for the end of a Florida vacation.
Poe: You’re waiting to see Patrick. It’s only natural.
Timothy and Reseda?
Timothy: I can’t believe it’s not butter!
Reseda: Is that from the store that keeps trying to “donate” expired food? I can’t believe we’re still accepting stuff from them at all!
Sparrow and Bianca?
Sparrow: I can’t believe this rain!
Bianca: It gets like this in Massachusetts too.
Sparrow: Yeah, and I figured that was a freak of nature!
Ann Walker and her Being?
Walker: I can’t believe how long that took.
The Tiger: Sorry, Master. At least you don’t have any meetings until the afternoon.
Tina and Dotan?
Tina: I can’t believe you didn’t win the Saturday costume contest! And I bet you were the only real wolf there!
Dotan: Um . . . about that . . .

omG, what happened to Walker’s little girl? 8o
d’aww, Poe (I seem to say ‘aww’ every day, huh?).
I’m guessing Walker takes full advantage of a Being’s versatility – rather than have them stick to a single preferred form, the tiger being changes to match the utility of the situation
Which can make her relationship and view of the Beings and other people for that matter extra creepy.
Or practical. From a different perspective.
If your Being is OCD about pleasing you…let’im? all things considered, turning your immortal tiger thing into a big strapping man for the purpose of biblical congress isn’t the worst idea. Off the top of my head, keeping it an apparent 10 year old for that same purpose seems much worse, for example.
Well…I have so many questions about the ethics and safety of this…
The donating expired food I mean.
I have so many questions about what he’s looking at that’s turned into butter.
Stores that are donating food would generally like to donate it as close to the sell-by date as possible. (You can also get dodgy food from individuals, even well-meaning ones who don’t know how to follow all the legal requirements.) It’s illegal to serve expired food in soup kitchens, so everything gets filtered by the staff before it gets out on tables.
Also, are there any mustelid Beings? Just asking.
