Patrick: Eventually, some human figured out how to change us. To “hack the code,” in the modern metaphor.
This person designed the Contracts we still exist under. But they couldn’t completely erase the First Order.
So they changed it.
Now the thing that keeps us from shutting down, that tells our “code” we still have a purpose for existence that we’re fulfilling, is when we fight each other.
And now we have Miranda hacking the code too. *Ponders*
Well this takes them from ancient gods to the ancient monsters. Interesting idea that battle is in their base root code.
Still leaves the question of where exactly the battles take place.
I’m fascinated by the potential being silhouettes we haven’t met yet.

the beak is wrong, so is the neck, I’d say some kind of seed eating bird, the tuft on the head and body proportions make me think of a Peafowl, or other junglefowl, possibly a bird of paradise.
and yes, a snake. I wander if we’ll ever meet that one, and if given the strange relationship with snakes around the world what its like.
and there appears to be yet another bird, under the bunny next to the wizard’s left arm; like a penguin or something, the proportions are very cartoony so hard to tell.
I thought of a dodo, purely because of Rule of Cool…
