And here it is: the ebook of chapter 2!

The print version of issue 2 will be available once I’ve had a chance to check over the proof copies. If you want an early peek at the bonus material, or just don’t like the smell of paper, the ebook is out now!

As with issue 1, it’s a full color PDF, 32 pages. Not only that, the ebooks are now being sold directly through PayPal, where the fees are slightly lower — which means I can offer this to you for US$0.99 and make almost the same profit.

Click the following button to buy the ebook, and keep an eye out for the print version!

Today’s page will be slightly delayed. To tide you over, have some sketches.

Free sketches continue – now for Issue 3 too!

Four people have claimed free exclusive sketches for the back of Issue 2…but two of them have asked for scenes that would spoil Issue 3. (And one of them still hasn’t worked out what he wants. Somehow I suspect he’s overthinking it.)

The spoilery sketches are getting drawn, but will be put in issue 3. Which means I may as well make that issue’s last two sketch slots available to everyone, along with the two remaining for Issue 2.

In other words, if you want to claim a sketch, here’s what’s still up for grabs:

  • Sketches that DO NOT SPOIL Chapter 3: Two
  • Sketches that spoil merrily away: Two

Same rules as before apply.

In the meantime, the current round of fundraising to put all this together is still ongoing, with fabulous prizes for anyone who donates before September 30. And remember issue 1? It’s now up on Amazon. So please, if you pick it up, go there and leave a review!

Looking forward to chapter 2!

Now that issue #1 is in print, it’s time to start thinking about issue #2. Specifically, bonus material. Even more specifically, the extra sketches in the back.

In that spirit, the first four people to reply to this post will get a free custom sketch. It will be emailed personally to you, and not made available to anyone else in the world, except those discerning, intelligent, sexy people who who purchase issue #2.

Same rules as last time:

  • The sketch has to be BICP-related. Crossovers are allowed; they’ll count as parody, so they won’t violate copyright law.
  • No porn. My grandmother is planning on buying this (assuming she can figure out how to navigate Lulu, anyway).
  • Don’t ask for spoilers of future events. In fact, please don’t ask for things that were revealed in chapter 3, either. Keep it to chapters 1 and 2.

As usual, general commissions are also open.

Ask away!

Four Three Two One slot still available!

Chapter 1 (finally!) out in print!

Between technical glitches, a shipping problem, multiple test printings, and a visit with family smack in the middle of it all, sometimes it felt like this was never going to come together. But here it is, folks: But I’m A Cat Person, chapter 1, the print version!

Buy BICP Issue #1 through Lulu.com

Buy BICP Issue #1 through Amazon CreateSpace

It will also be available directly through Amazon in about a week — although my profit margin is lower there, so please buy through one of these two channels if you can ^_^

As with the ebook, this contains new bonus art on every page, plus four pages of exclusive bonus sketches and material in the back. Plus, look at that shiny cover. How can you resist?

The two versions of the printing are slightly different. Amazon’s has nicer binding and a stronger cover, and handles the page margins better. However, Lulu’s has higher-quality paper in the interior, and the printing of the text is slightly cleaner. I’ll make photos of both versions available soon, to help you decide which to buy! (Or you could always get one of each and compare them yourself ^_~)

Thanks to everyone who’s supported this comic so far. Information about issue #2 will be coming soon!
